One Table to Rule Them All

There are many references to the collection of numbers known by the initiated as the One Table, or simply the Table. It sees all, knows all, and is all-powerful. It's a buncha numbers that look like this:

Roll Step
Cost
Total
Cost
-4 -1 -4
-3 -1 -3
-2 -1 -2
-1 -1 -1
0 0 0
+1 3 3
+2 6 9
+3 17 26
+4 81 107

Why This Table Is Optional: You can either roll dice or use this table (if you have the Points to spend).

The numbers on this table are derived from the statistics of rolling Fudge dice and are very useful when using Fudged Links. You can also Let the Dice Do the Math and forget about the Table, and the results will be the same ... on the average.

"Roll" means the die roll, Trait Ranks, Link Width, etc. that this row of the table refers to. "Step Cost" means the cost in Points to increase (for positive Rolls) or decrease (for negative) a Trait's Ranks or a Link's Width by one row to this value. "Total Cost" means the cost in Points to buy a roll or to increase/decrease a Trait's Ranks or a Link's Width to this value directly from zero.
